The Two-Part Maternity Shoot

There is a family that regularly chooses me to capture their life's memories and they are now expecting their second little girl! I had the privilege of being the photographer for their maternity/family session and being that I had more ideas after the first day, I decided to meet up with them again for another go at it. The first day was reserved for the park and the second at their house, where there was more of a focus on props like baby things. They are ever so accommodating and down-to-earth so I couldn't ask for better friends.

It was a fairly windy day when we

arranged to go to the park, so the bubble machine I had set up was a good idea for another day. I'll try again for a kid's birthday shoot or something like that.

A couple of weeks later I came over and got a few different shots that were more baby-focused. We shot in front of their back patio door and even though the sky was very similar to the one in the first shoot, there was still enough variety to make it worthwhile.
